The DMEM medium is a modification of the BME which contains a higher concentration of amino acids, vitamins and other additives.
There are two versions of DMEM:
- * high glucose content (4.5g / L) well suited to high density suspension cells.
- * low glucose content (1.0g / L) ideal for adherent dependent cells.
